MY Sound 8 | Results


 The eighth edition of MY Sound for Ourvision Song Contest (OVSC) 20 has come to an end. And we have a winner! The winning song will represent Malaysia in 20th edition of OVSC.

The winning song won with 17.72% votes. The song is "Falling in Love" by Siti Nurhaliza. The song was submitted by lazarkoo. The song has participated in the seventh edition of MY Sound but only managed to finish third. At that time, the song was submitted by mochashake92. Siti Nurhaliza finally won MY Sound after getting mixed results in the last three appearances in MY Sound. She had almost won MY Sound 3 but her victory was snatched by "Beribu Sesalan" because the winning song got more 12 points than her song though her song got the same points with the winning song's. Besides finishing second, she has finished third in MY Sound 7 and finished last in MY Sound 2. With this song winning this edition of MY Sound with 134 points, the song managed to tie some records. First, the song ties the record with "Years from Now" for getting the highest points that a song has ever get (134 points). Secondly, the song is the third winner of MY Sound to win after its second participation besides "Kisah Hati" and "Kasanova". Third, lazarkoo is the second user to win MY Sound twice after oglukzkashan and the first user to win MY Sound twice in a row! Thanks to lazarkoo for resubmitting this winning song in the eighth edition of Malaysian Sound.

Good afternoon! This is my weekly chart for singles. Only 25 songs are eligible to enter the singles chart.   ' Dare I Say ' jumps from no.11 to no. 1, making it the biggest jump of the week. 'Dare I Say' is Alexander Rybak's third no. 1 song, making him the only artist to have 3 no. 1 songs in the chart history. The 'Dare I Say' jump from no. 11 to no. 1 breaks the record of the biggest jump to number one which was held by 'Fairytale' in week 7 . Last week topper 'Canta Por Mim' slips down to no. 2. Eric Saade's 'Upgrade' re-enter the chart at no. 3 while 'Glow' jumps 4 spots to no. 4. 'Kisah Hati' by Alyah and Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' debuted at no. 5 and no. 7 respectively.
