MY Sound 5


The fifth edition of MY Sound will start on Sunday, 6 November 2011. Seven songs will compete to represent Malaysia in OurVision Song Contest (OVSC) 14. All competing songs are as below.

  • This is the first edition of MY Sound that features three English songs.
  • 'Drama' by Ning Baizura, Nikki & Yanie will compete again for the third time in MY Sound 5.
  • Mizz Nina, who represented Malaysia in OVSC 5 with 'What You Waiting For', will join MY Sound 5 with her new single entitled 'Take Over' featuring Flo Rida.
  • Bunkface will compete again in this edition with 'You and Me'.
  • Nikki Palikat, who sings a duet entitled 'Drama' with Ning Baizura and Yanie in MY Sound 1, 2 and 3 will join again with her hit single entitled 'Cantik'. She is also the first singer to have two songs competing in one edition of MY Sound simultaneously.

The 25 Week 17

Good afternoon! This is my weekly chart for singles. Only 25 songs are eligible to enter the singles chart.   ' Dare I Say ' jumps from no.11 to no. 1, making it the biggest jump of the week. 'Dare I Say' is Alexander Rybak's third no. 1 song, making him the only artist to have 3 no. 1 songs in the chart history. The 'Dare I Say' jump from no. 11 to no. 1 breaks the record of the biggest jump to number one which was held by 'Fairytale' in week 7 . Last week topper 'Canta Por Mim' slips down to no. 2. Eric Saade's 'Upgrade' re-enter the chart at no. 3 while 'Glow' jumps 4 spots to no. 4. 'Kisah Hati' by Alyah and Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' debuted at no. 5 and no. 7 respectively. Germans close on Dutch, England go fifth
