The 25 Week 33


Good afternoon! This is my weekly chart for singles. Only 25 songs are eligible to enter the singles chart. Below is a video recap of the top 5 for the week.

          "The Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice debuts at the top of the chart while Julien Comblat's "Bien évidemment" ascends 3 positions to No. 2. "Bien évidemment" is most likely climbing to the top of the chart next week. At No. 3, "Survivor/I Will Survive" climbs one spot. Former two-week No. 1 "My Love" and No. 2 hits "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around" both from Justin Timberlake slips 3 positions at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively. Another Glee Cast's single "We Are Young" ascends 2 positions to No. 6 while "Spotlight", which is also from Glee Cast re-enters at No. 7. Former No. 1 "Parachute" and "Paradise" climb 13 positions and 10 positions respectively into the Top 10. To conclude, only one song managed to debut this week, which is this week chart topper and 5 songs re-enter this week.

MY Sound 10

The tenth edition of MY Sound will start on Tuesday, 7 February 2012. Ten songs will be competing to represent Malaysia in Ourvision Song Contest (OVSC) 22. All competing songs are as below. Click to enlarge Eleven artists will return for the tenth edition of Malaysian Sound. All songs competing in this edition are returning songs. Three runner-ups and four previous winners of MY Sound will also be participating in this edition. The most experienced song in MY Sound, a three-way duet by former winner, Ning Baizura featuring Yanie and another former winner, Nikki Palikat entitled "Drama" will enter to have another chance to win MY Sound after managed to get second place twice out of three tries. Jaclyn Victor, who is the winner of MY Sound 3 along with Ning Baizura and Shila, will enter again with her song "Gemilang". This is the promo video of For The Rest of My Life by Maher Zain. I am waiting for this music video for months and now the music video will be released soon. When I watch the promo video, it has already gives me a good impression about the upcoming music video. Besides, I have listened to this song for countless of times and I have liked this song since last year or to be precise, since I first listened to this song. I hope the music video will be as good as 'InsyaAllah' music video. I do not know when will this music video be released but what I know, I cannot wait for it. I will post the music video after it has released. Enjoy the video! Short review about the video. The music video is just amazing.
