The 25 Week 34


Good afternoon! This is my weekly chart for singles. Only 25 songs are eligible to enter the singles chart.

"Bien évidemment" ascends to the top of the chart after 3 weeks in Top 5. Former two-week No. 1 "My Love" wants to continue its stay at No. 1 but always been stalled by new songs. "My Love" is currently at No. 2. Both singles from Aizat, "Sungai Lui" and "Years From Now" climbs into the Top 5 for the first time after being in The25 for quite some time. "Sungai Lui" climbs 12 positions at No. 3 and "Years From Now" climbs 13 positions at No. 4. Not only that, "SexyBack" also climbs 6 positions back into the Top 5. In fact, all songs on Top 5 are ascending from their original positions. To conclude, 4 songs managed to make their debut and 3 songs re-enter this week.

MY Sound 10

The tenth edition of MY Sound will start on Tuesday, 7 February 2012. Ten songs will be competing to represent Malaysia in Ourvision Song Contest (OVSC) 22. All competing songs are as below. Click to enlarge Eleven artists will return for the tenth edition of Malaysian Sound. All songs competing in this edition are returning songs. Three runner-ups and four previous winners of MY Sound will also be participating in this edition. The most experienced song in MY Sound, a three-way duet by former winner, Ning Baizura featuring Yanie and another former winner, Nikki Palikat entitled "Drama" will enter to have another chance to win MY Sound after managed to get second place twice out of three tries. Jaclyn Victor, who is the winner of MY Sound 3 along with Ning Baizura and Shila, will enter again with her song "Gemilang". This is the promo video of For The Rest of My Life by Maher Zain. I am waiting for this music video for months and now the music video will be released soon. When I watch the promo video, it has already gives me a good impression about the upcoming music video. Besides, I have listened to this song for countless of times and I have liked this song since last year or to be precise, since I first listened to this song. I hope the music video will be as good as 'InsyaAllah' music video. I do not know when will this music video be released but what I know, I cannot wait for it.
